On 6th September we went on to a camping in Edson and rang for mail forwarding Florida, also booked van in for new fridge, freezer in a van.

11 September 01 - Now a famous day or infamous in USA. Needless to say we did not get our mail there.

14th? - After 8 days waiting warden promised to send it on when it arrived. It finally did in B.C. 1 Oct

The trip through Jasper and Banff National Park was everything we had expected. Rockes. Views. Lakes. Beautiful and of course September was fall colours too.

After the rough roads around Alaska no problem, we got a cracked windscreen. It was cheaper to have it replaced in Banff rather than British Columbia, Alberta being a tax-free state. Banff itself is more Japanese than USA.

22 September - we crossed back into B.C.. Saw big steam engine in Golden, lots of photographers around.

26 September - we met up with Bill and Linda (Prince Rupert and Alaska). We spent a week on a beautiful site in Kootneys by lake. Learned to play pokeno while we waited for mail.
